FAT64 Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 The Microsoft offering is pretty good at that sort of thing. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en
Zxian Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 The TeaTimer addon to Spybot Search&Destroy is a real-time anti-spyware monitor for you.http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
dman Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 JavaCool SpywareBlaster is a great free spyware monitor.

sonu27 Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 You should go for Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta1.Fast and reliable.

ripken204 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 ur rly having problems with that stuff? plz tell me that ur using firefox, if not then do it! i run adaware+spybot 1nce a month and only get about 3-5 things
DigeratiPrime Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 (edited) like ripken204 i also havent had a problem with spyware AT ALL after switching to firefox. In fact after switching several freinds and family to firefox and running adaware after 3 months it found nothing, and these were NOT limited users (non-admins). You can also use an extension in firefox called NoScript, and be incredibly safe. Also i dont mean to hijack the thread at all, its just that i can confidently say that spyware and adware are pretty much a thing of the past with firefox. ripken204 Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 well its not a thing of the past since firefox is pretty new, the reason that there is nothing for it yet is b/c the code is vry different than anything else so the hackers have to pretty much learn a new code
