I'm just curious if the blue color can be changed. Can't find anything which posibly be a sign in setupldr.bin . Any sugestions ? Thanks....
SaintLaur Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 Hellllooooooo !!! Nothing yet ? ...well, maybe can't be possile ... Anyway, thank you for reading that...
Scubar Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 im also trying todo the same thing. i would like to know what file it is as ive already checked SETUPLDR.BIN and SETUPLDR.EXE for the Hex code 00 00 AA but it doesnt seem to be there so im guessing its another file.
Scubar Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 well thats what i thought. but when i took a screenshot using vmware and used a colour hex finder it returned it as 00 00 AA
Delprat Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 How can you be sure that the color is adressed in RGB ?The display of text-mode seems to be some VESA-compliant one ; and VESA text resolutions includes the "classic" 16 pre-defined colors (see COLOR /?... thoses colors are used sinces ages by BIOS Setups without any display driver)If i'm right, you'll need to look for the single-byte "18".I guess there will be many "18"...good hunting !
