Owed to the popularity of the Tolkien I thought this might be of interest.

Michael Drout, an US academic, discovered a yellowing manuscript written by J.R.R. Tolkien, who wrote books like 'Lord of the Rings' in an Oxford Library. It could become one of the publishing sensations of 2003.

The 2000 pages, that are handwritten, include Tolkien's translations of 'Beowulf', an English poem from the 8th century A.D. that gave him the inspiration to write 'Lord of the Rings'.

Elves, orcs and ents are mentioned in 'Beowulf'. The new book will be published next summer. With Tolkien's name on the cover, it is likely to become a bestseller.
