Disable the last 3 server funktion in 2003 ?

How do i disable File Server,Terminal Server,E-Mail Server ? in Windows server 2003 Enterprise Build 3790 with SP1.

Go to "Manage Your Server" and choose "Add or Remove roles". That's the easy way, the other way is to disable those services.

I still can`t instal my anti-virus program the installer says it can`t protect File Server,Terminal Server,E-Mail Server but i have done what you advice can you think of something other i can do so my AV can accept 2k3 ?

no idea, but if you still want to disable those services click start>run and type "services.msc" without quotes, from there you can disable the necessary services.

CAREFUL: maybe you'll need those services!

You must have a "server" edition of your AntiVirus ...

Norton AntiVirus Corporate
