Folder problem

When i open a folder it disappears sometimes, but if i were to tab its still there active, is this a known problem?

When i ALT+TAB i can see the folder, but i cant see it in the lower bar, the bar where Start is located

Ok, I guess you can't see tabs of open folders or apps in your taskbar.

Try to unlock your taskbar and adjust it so you can see this...

are you doing any sort of proc intensive activity at the time, sometimes windows gets behind in proccessing its API calls, especially those to windows that are considered non-essential, such as the start bar. Its possible that if you waited till it had time to process the API, then it would show up.

Ive tried doing what you suggested N1K, but Mattofak the folders only show up if i ALT+TAB them.

Print Screen doesnt work when i ALT+TAB, n its there i can show the problem

frys problem is simply when alt+tab is pressed, the folder can be seen in the selection, however, the folder is not visible at all on the taskbar, ie the bar next to where the start button is located. I hope this will clarify things a little, and will do in place of a screendump

When you Alt-Tab to the window, can you get the window on the screen that way. If so, does it then show up on the start bar?

How many programs do you have open when you try this? And how wide is the area on the start bar for holding programs?
