BrandonS_Mil
OK, i have spent the last 2 hrs looking and it seems everyone is having the same problem.:1. No real answers, just rude comments.2. No explanation of how to correct the problem. So, i will reask my question with some more details.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Win XP SP2 - boot clean install -- asks user questions but already has CD key.Win 2k3 server - boot clean install -- asks user questions but already has CD key.-----------------------------------------------------------Win XP SP2 upgrade - asks user for CD keywin 2k3 server - asks user for cd key.------------------------------------------------------------I don't nessisarily need it to be an unattended install (my other one works fine) I just want to be able to setup XP or 2K3 with in windows (Upgrade) and have it already know the CD key. I still want users to imput there options.Attached is my winnt.sif and doubled as unattend.txt as per microsoft instructions. ;SetupMgrTag[Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" AutomaticUpdates=1[Unattended] UnattendMode=DefaultHide OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=No TargetPath=\WINDOWS WaitorReboot="No" [GuiUnattended] EncryptedAdminPassword=NO OEMSkipRegional=1[UserData] ProductKey=XXX FullName="" OrgName=""[TapiLocation] CountryCode=1 Dialing=Tone[Identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP[Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=YesSomeone Please help. P.S. if all your going to do is be rude and not provide any real help/guidance : Please don't post.

BrandonS_Mil
First off -- Thanks "dman" and "djbe" !!! djbe -- the post about PM8... worked wonders in making it boot, but i also found that ONE file..PQPB.RTC...was a hidden system file and didn't copy... it works great now. dman -- I tried but it didn't work, but I really appreciate the fact that you offered help. (note: I sent an email to Microsoft asking that question since I also work for the Military i thought it would help... I will get back to all on this issue)
