I've been using RegMon and FileMon for a while.

FileMon shows that every time you open a folder in Explorer or do something apparently very simple, Windows processes hundreds or thousands of query and write operations - quite a relevation.

Likewise for RegMon.

That's why they have filtering... filter out the av. spysweeper, etc...

Dude, I know about that filtering feature. Did you know that it's limited? You can't fileter as many processes as you want.

:thumbup nice logoff code gunsmokingman!!

Dont mean to bump this, just curious if the best place to put these is in the C:\XPCD\$OEM$\$$\System32 so that I can run them directly from the run and cmdline interface?

I was planning on using Shortcut.exe as well so I can put them all in a folder under StartMenu\Programs\Admin Tools

thanks!
