hi i found this site a few years ago when i was searching for an unattended windows installation, build my own added service pack 1 no problems what so ever.

just this week i've downloaded sp2 and slipstreamd it to my windows cd. now when i want to install it reports that "ntfs.sys" is missing or corrupted and it aborts the installation. any similar problems/solutions?

no you don't

it's recommended to do slipstreaming over clean xp cd, not SP1 version.

Yeah, I've personally only heard of that error occuring when users slipstream sp2 over sp1.

that only happens when you have reg or sp1 version of the boot logo so make sure you have sp2 compatible boot screens and the error messege should go away.
