FthrJACK Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Has anyone got any suggestions for firewalls to test in a review we will be doing shortly?we would like to cover the most popular ones, especially ones which are free for home use. all must work on XP. a few retail ones would b an idea too to get a good spread.thanks

Doggie Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 What about hardware firewalls?ermm.. wouldn't those products be a little bit hard to get hold of unless u can now download hardware

roban Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 Everyone on the planet reviews the usual firewalls, ZA, BID, TPF, NPF but you might want to look at some of the more esoteric among the candidates. I know where you can get them all in one place. You can e-mail me for the info. Admins only.
Doggie Posted November 20, 2002 Posted November 20, 2002 well.. i think more ppl are interested in software based firewalls.. but if theres high demands of course they'd probably review
