cut Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 ok i've networked computers before but this setup i have now is difficult. PC 1 - upstairs, connected to my niebor/friends network via wireless pci card, this is also my internet connection. onboard NIC connected to linksys wireless router with ICS enabled on the wireless nic. router is downstairs. ]router: linksys 54g, internet port connected to nic on PC 1. changed IP on router to other then 192.168.xxx.xxx PC 2 - connected to port 1 and connects to internet fineXBOX - connected to port 2 and connects to internet finecant see/ connect/share files on pc1 and pc 2. both running xp pro. whats wrong?
