prathapml Posted February 23, 2005 Author Share Posted February 23, 2005 i never managed to understand the difference between the full & pro, can someone tell me that?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>WinAmp since v5 has the ability to rip Audio CDs (thru Media library). If you have the full version (or any other bundle which contains the relevant codecs), you can rip from ACD into MP3 or AAC or OGG formats, only at 2x speed.If you have Pro version, you can rip to all the formats at unlimited speed (i.e., as fast as your CD-drive possibly can), and you can rip to the mp3PRO format as well. You have to download the pro version and from preferences you have to enter your registration to unlock Pro features (as mentioned here). If you do not give your key, the pro version will run just like your full version does.As of now, this is the only difference between unpaid (full) and paid (pro) versions. Alanoll Posted February 23, 2005 Share Posted February 23, 2005 the installation of both the PRO and FULL versions result in the EXACT same files on the system. The only difference is the installer, and that difference is a single page where you enter your serial during isntall time. That be the ONLY difference.
