I found this small utility on the Internet.

Unfortunately is in german and i'm not speaking german.

Does anybody can expalin how it's works

if not here it go's

first box ask's you what file to choose .reg .txt

second box ask's you the out put name and path

click ok and done

I though it was the same utility as this one, until I downloaded it,

This is an old one I have, to use it

copy the exe to the same directory as the reg file you wish to convert

open prompt and type at the commandline

reg2inf <filename>.reg <filename>.inf

It does however have many limitations

For anyone who's interested in an English Text version. I translated the text in the code the best I can for now. Any suggestions, let me know. Also, let me know if something got fudged up in the translation process. Otherwise, seems to be okay.

ATTN: This is the same as in the begining of this post by coucou, just edited for English speaking folk.

It has a simple GUI. Just place the Reg2inf.vbs either in the same directory as the registry file, run it and type in the name of the registry file. Or you can tell it where the registry file is. It will remember that path for the inf.

Thanks for trying, but that's a .NET app.

And there isn't a .NET app out there that's worth the extra 170MB of bloat.
