Blam-O! Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 "The National Security Agency/Central Security Service is America’s cryptologic organization. It coordinates, directs, and performs highly specialized activities to protect U.S. information systems and produce foreign intelligence information. A high technology organization, NSA is on the frontiers of communications and data processing. It is also one of the most important centers of foreign language analysis and research within the government."(http://www.nsa.gov/about/)The key Word here is "cryptologic ". Search for it via Google for more info....also search for "Crypthographic", as this has part in it... (Crypthographic Algorithms)Hope this helps
MadGutts Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 They are the american equivelent to the British MI5 and MI6 organisations.British MI5 websiteThere is no website for the MI6 as they are "British Secret Service" which is famous because of James Bond....They are a listening, decoding and general nosey parkers!!! Their job is to listen to all radio, telephone and comunications looking for key words and then will react if they find something... It is reported that they knew about 9-11 before the begining of the month but did nothing! i don't know how true this is...Watch "Enemy of the State" with Will smith... he has a "Small" problem with the NSA!! and this will explain it best !! LOL
matrix0978 Posted February 8, 2005 Author Posted February 8, 2005 Hahaha ok thanks i kinda get it now
epic Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 To say the least.. you would rather have the FBI after you then the NSA. NSA has exceeding power over the FBI, yet they do not abuse the privaledge. Most divisions are called upon with obscurity.Just a word of warning. If the NSA appears within your area you may want to get away to a safe place, dont ask questions & dont look back.Another, Who do you think all the men safeguarding the President are working for? a. FBIb. NSAc. NASAd. CIAe. Hillory Clinton
