gamehead200 Posted November 7, 2002 Posted November 7, 2002 OK, everytime I switch resolutions (800x600 and 1280x1024) it switches the resolution for every user that uses my computer. How can I change the resolution JUST FOR ME?
misskellibad1 Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 gamehead, I read somewhere a while back that you can't. By default all users have the same resolution. I will look for the link for you.
misskellibad1 Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 here it ishttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;en-us;Q281565
FthrJACK Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 misskelli is right. dont forget when you change the resolution you have to stretch the screen image to size. windows cant do that.you could maybe make a login script for each user and it will run each time they login and set the res they like, BUT then they would have to stretch the monitor image out everytime they logged in. very annoying lol.until monitors come out with some different way of auto fitting the picture or something i dont see any operating system vendor getting round that problem
