I uninstalled some applications from add/remove program BUT they still appear in add/remove program even though they are removed. How can I permanently delete them for good.? (where are they in the registry.?)

How to Manually Remove Programs from the Add/Remove Programs List

There are several programs that allow you to do this without having to mess with the registry. Some can be found at this link: www.snapfiles.com search results (scroll down the page)

I know that Tweak UI will remove entries in the add/remove program list in 98 and 2K but I am not sure with XP. It is worth a try though.

i personally like "Your Uninstaller 2004" or "Regedit"

i made a custom installer of Your Uninstaller 2004 that replaces add remove programs in my control panel, then if i need 2 uninstall it for some reason, it puts back the icon in control panel

Is "YourUninstaller" a freeware? Could you provide a link?
