finding serial numbers

I have an HP Pavilian 6630 with Windows 98 SE. I cannot find the original disc and I would like to recreate it but I don't have the original serial number. I assume it is on the PC somewhere, but I don't know where to find it. Is it the same as the product number on the Windows 98 instruction book? That I have. Thanks.

There should be a small label on the bottom of the machine or glued to the inside of the computer case too.....

Run

Regedit

Then HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

click the + next to Software

then Microsoft

then Windows

then Current Version

you should then see the product key B)
