Abit MB comments needed

I'm planning on replacing my MB with an Abit and would like some feedback. So far I think the one I'm considering is the IS7-GMaxII advanced since it supports RAID0 and SATA. Should I consider any others?

Spec

P4 2.4 533FSB

Wanting to go the RAID-0

Wanting 1394 & USB

I think it should have room to grow since it support CPU's to 3.8

Anything abit is good stuff but personally I put Asus in everything I build.

Is Ausu better, or just a personal choice. Also which Ausu whould be equal to the IS7-GMax ii advanced?

I am not sure which would be faster, you would have to find a benchmark comparing the two

Abit is always nice too though, I do not think you would complain no matter which one you get, you will be very happy either way

That Abit board is nice, but keep in mind that the nothbridge cooler with fan will make noise after some time, even if you keep it free fom dust.

Buy a zallman northbridge cooler, that would make a perfect choice for you.

Then, I don´t know what is the diference between a Asus or Abit motherboard in price... you have to look for your self .
