Is Ausu better, or just a personal choice. Also which Ausu whould be equal to the IS7-GMax ii advanced?

I'm planning on replacing my MB with an Abit and would like some feedback. So far I think the one I'm considering is the IS7-GMaxII advanced since it supports RAID0 and SATA. Should I consider any others? Spec P4 2.4 533FSB Wanting to go the RAID-0 Wanting 1394 & USB I think it should have room to grow since it support CPU's to 3.8

Thanks for the quick replies. I checked everthing in the MB setup that I could do and even reflashed the BIOS. I been having beep code issues over the last 6 weeks and guess it just died when all this happened. I'm lucky I have 99% of my personal information(data) on the second hard drive. What I plan to do is get a new MB and set it up as RAID0. Will post some questions on another thread.

New here and got a major problem. My motherboard(Gigabyte GE8PE667) went crazy with beep codes and now while it's working i would like to recover my data before replacing mb and starting over. The problem is I can figure out how to start XPhome to make a repair. I hit F8 and select safe mode with it loads drivers, and hangs at agp440.sys. I try to use the repair from CD but system gives an error that ACPI isn't supported by the BIOS. It was the day before this mess started. I'm open for suggestions. regards
