Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 Ok thanks,Do I need to change anything in the file or is it ready to go?
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 O and about the note pad.I figure if this this works I will reinstall windows with my new disc.
CHANDER Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Thats the idea About the batch file...you will have to change the location of the exe to where your is placed otherwise it wont run the command because it wont find the program.
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 So what is it that I need to change in the batch file?
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 Oh no..I cant open it in notepad.Wel I guess I will have to do this part on my dad's laptop.
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 Ok I'm in the laptop now.what do I change?
CHANDER Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Not to be rude or anything..but theres a reason that there is a Edit button on forums....is C:\install\MediaPlayer\MP10Setup.exe the path to your setup file when your programs are copied over from the $1 folder to your systemdrive? If not, change it so it is.
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 Um,I put the setup file inC:\XPCD\$OEM$\$1\Installso i guess It is.If it is am I ready to go?
CHANDER Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 If your setup file is in your Install directory then no you're not because in your batch file it says its in your Install\MediaPlayer directory...
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 If your setup file is in your Install directory then no you're not because in your batch file it says its in your Install\MediaPlayer directory...your losing me again
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 C:\XPCD\$OEM$\$1\Install\MP10Setup.exe
Halo Hacker Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 In that case,I dont need to change or modify it?
