Stupid clients

Featured Replies

:o My client the stupid stupid id*** is planning to take a vb6 application suite and porting it to Vb.net

in this process he doesn't want to use any of .net features. he simply wants the vb6 code to work in vb.net

all the developers are p***ed off and i am ranting over here.

:(

ya, thats really pointless, you should tell your client that if your developing in vb6 there is no point upgrading it to vb.net...

also, why is your client deving software that would effect you...

(i agree, he sounds like an id*** though)

So what your saying is he wants to port vb6 apps to vb.net because it is newer so it must be better even if you dont impliment the new features? sounds like a smart guy id love to meet him.

Charge him your fee (for the time it will take you to convert).

After seeing what it will cost him, he should drop the idea! ;)

Yeah, u r clients totally misguided, or he may be having some statutory requirements to use .net.

anyways "The client is always right", and why fret if he's paying you good moolah for it. if he wants it free then kick his b***.

oh and while u r at it...u might try adding some extra fees for the mental torture u r going thru:)

he simply wants the vb6 code to work in vb.net

Yeah, THAT make sense.

The App will need the Framework to be installed anyway...

Apart from id*** and many other names.... one one word comes into my mind:

WHY ?

Maybe you should write in Spectrum ZX BASIC for him !!!!
