gamehead200
Whenever I download a ZIP file, it just downloads it without asking me where I want to save it or open it. What can I do? I have IE6 SP1...
Guest
IE>Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Restore DefaultsThat should do it But...I recommend installing WinRAR and it will set it as default for opening zips and that, and ask you to open or save. Reverend
OK Gamehead try this.Open windows explorer and go to Tools > Folder Options. On the File Types tab scroll down the bottom of the list to "ZIP".Click to highlight it and then hit the Advanced button.Put a tick in Confirm open after download and click OK.Then close the Folder options window. Now when you download a ZIP file it should ask you where to save it.
