Dell and Rodney Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Is anyone aware of a program that would allow me to increase the bitrate for an mp3 without loosing any quality?cheers
Vietfobster Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 no im not aware of any program like that.just keep ur mp3 bitrate the way it is. no need to change it
jpatto Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I was told when using Nero to save tracks it gave you an option to select the bitrate......not too sure if that would help your case or not but thought to mention it
buletov Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Is anyone aware of a program that would allow me to increase the bitrate for an mp3 without loosing any quality?rephrase this;you have an existing mp3 you want to convet or...?
Tarun Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I use CdEx to turn it back into a wav, then turn it back into an mp3 at the bitrate I want.Download.com has CdEx available there.
naji Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 I use CdEx to turn it back into a wav, then turn it back into an mp3 at the bitrate I want.why bother?? i dont think the resulting mp3, would have better sound quality than the original!
Drewdatrip Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Very true. I dont think you can gt better quality then the original track. The only way i beivle this can be done is if you have the original wav format riped from a cd.Then conerting it on your own and selecting the bit rate of your chose.|Drew|
Vietfobster Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 Is anyone aware of a program that would allow me to increase the bitrate for an mp3 without loosing any quality?cheerseverytime u increase the bitrate of an mp3, u lose quality. no exceptions. the mp3 at the original bitrate is as good as it gets. no need to change it.encode an mp3 at 32kbps then reencode the same mp3 to 320kbps. the resulting mp3 wont be any better.
kwpro Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 increase the bitrate for an mp3 without loosing any quality? You can increase the bit rate of an mp3 without losing the quality but it will not increase the quaility of the mp3 file so really there is no point.Kenny
Vietfobster Posted November 29, 2004 Posted November 29, 2004 ...well not exactly. u will lose quality, but ur ears will most likely not notice it.
