aresgodofwar Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 i have been using WS_FTP to upload files to my ftp server, but i keep getting connection was reset errors and also it doesn't support deleting of directories with files in them. can anyone recommend good ftp clients? they can be freeware or not. if it is a good program, i don't mind paying for it.

brian873 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Hi,I have been through every FTP client and found them all to be lacking something or other.I use wS_FTP pro 9 and you can go to TOOLS/OPTIONS/GENERAL in there you can set ALLOW DELETION OF NON EMPTY FOLDERS. This shouls solve youor problem. I do not know why this iis here because it is a royal paiin in the @ss.hail hail

zivan56 Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 FileZilla is a very good solution. It has many features such as connecting over SSH2, SSL, etc. Btw, its also 100% open source and free.
