October 19, 200124 yr WinKey + LWinKey is between your CTRL and ALT key.If you want your PC lock to be password-protected, set a password on your admin account in the Control Panel > Users section.You can use TweakUI to login automatically with your password to save you typing it in on WinXP boot up.

October 20, 200124 yr Yes it does look like a login screen, but it doesn't reload all your background apps like a proper login does. Your apps are still active when you lock the PC.

October 24, 200124 yr Author if you disable fast user switching you can lock your computerby useing the shortcut, winkey + l, or from menu in task manager.
