How can I make IE and fireFox friends ?

Hi,

I use Internet Explorer and Firefox depending on the sites I am visiting. I was wondering if there was a way to make one list of favorites that both browsers use. I know I can import IE's favorites to Firefox but not the other way. Does anyone have any information on this ? As I am fedup with transferrinig favorites between them.

You might want to take a look at Sitebar : A bookmark server program. Its opensource and free. But you need to install mySQL and PHP to get it running. The bookmarks appear as Sidebars in firefox and IE. It also supports a lot many other browsers....

Nope, no way. Microsoft will never provide an option to import favourites from other browsers....they have a hard enough time fixing their own browser

let me remember... sometime ago i found a program that converted firefox bookmarks to .url files... maybe from this page??

anyway i don't like to use iexplorer (only for WU and because it's necessary ), i found a extension for firefox called ieview. with that you can browse with firefox and when necessary a rightclick option let me "open this page on ie"
