hi! :D good... day!!! to all hir specially to the adminsitrator

my network pc can't browse the internet but when i connect to the router by http://

it can access it but to the internet won't :no: i check everything the ip the gateway i even crimp the rj45 firmly and i configure it as standard setup my pc access trough a router my os is Windows XP pro what could be the error!? can anyone help to make this work pls..... really need your help sooo... much!. :(

can the other computers access the internet? if so.. make sure you have "obtain IP address automatically" if you have DHCP enabled on your router. Also make sure DNS is setup too "obtain automatiacally" also....

also try too "ping" the router and other computers

start -> run -> cmd -> ping *IP of other computer and Router*

If you can access your router's config page bu http:// then check it's status pages. Make sure it has a valid IP (lots of times, you'll have to clone the MAC address or such things in order for your ISP to let you on).

I'm half guessing your computer is getting proper IP/subnet by DHCP as you can get that page in the router.

good.. day!!! to all :) yah!.. only this pc can't access the internet all are working fine.. i can access to router except the internet not at all actually i'm working on school department our router is D-link hardware router and a static broadband internet and our workstation using a static ip physical bus topology we have 3 labs in this lab right where i'm working i even try to crimp firmly the media cable and using the standard configuration i.. setup all the settings including the network ID i'm using Class C addresses. IP, Subnet, Gateway and the DNS preferred are also specified could be the OS or the windows xp do i need to format it again? :(
