nolookingca Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 Windows XP SP2 "marks" downloaded files to be "dangerous". That's why if you tried to launch the file you would get a warning.
Michael_W Posted September 17, 2004 Author Posted September 17, 2004 Thanks for the info . I've been looking for a group policy that can control this function. Do you know if it exists?Mike
tarquel Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Well I think for starters, you should take a look at these two pages. They might be of some help to you Microsoft Group Policy ADM FilesandGroup Policy Settings Reference for .adm files included with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2There may be some option to control it in these new updated files. If you update the server policies with these, then you should be on the right track Regards,N.
Michael_W Posted September 20, 2004 Author Posted September 20, 2004 mmm yes, I should have looked there Anyway I located the GPOpen Group Policy and browse to: User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Attachment ManagerMichael
