New function in sp2? (what is it?)

Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever seen the button, as displayed in the attached file? I get it on certain files aved on my file server. It would be nice if I knew what it does.

Windows XP SP2 "marks" downloaded files to be "dangerous". That's why if you tried to launch the file you would get a warning.

Thanks for the info . I've been looking for a group policy that can control this function. Do you know if it exists?

Well I think for starters, you should take a look at these two pages. They might be of some help to you

Microsoft Group Policy ADM Files

and

Group Policy Settings Reference for .adm files included with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

There may be some option to control it in these new updated files. If you update the server policies with these, then you should be on the right track

Anyway I located the GP

Open Group Policy and browse to:

User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Attachment Manager
