N1K Posted September 11, 2004 Share Posted September 11, 2004 You should create a new folder on the drive u want and extract all the files in that folder from command prompt window...Or you could copy the .exe file to the root of C: drive and extract it there..All files will be extracted in the temp folder of C: drive... pthomas Posted September 13, 2004 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Run the service pack with the /x switch from the command prompt:windowsxpSP2.exe /xThat way, it will prompt you where to extract the service pack to.
