If i find a way too change the 1024 character profile thing, i'll let ya know also, you may love me for this.... but...http://www.aimchange.com/tut.htmWho needs copyright laws? *EDIT* oh yea, if you modify your AIMRes.Dll file.. you may find that you can't direct conect or view webcams thats why i haven't done that above tutorial. but if you rarely ever do that go for it... and remeber too BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL! aimres.dll
August 27, 200421 yr Bleh. In addition to the above linked guide, try this site. Somewhat dated, but still very detailed. I used it a year or two ago to modify 5.1 - the last decent and usable version of AIM. I ripped out file transfer, talk, stock ticketer, buddy icons, lots of stuff.... *cough*opens ource alternative software pimpage*cough*
August 27, 200421 yr I'm using AIM 5.2 with AiMutation. Works extremely well to me. Removes ads and all kinds of junk. Btw, there's a path in the Windows directory you can go to in order to edit your profile. info.htm is the file name.

HOPEFULLY it will let me bypass the 1024 oh and btw... i'm using aim 5.5.3595 or somethign like that.. with Middle_Man *really good AIM addon* Middle Man Homeand Aim Ad Hack which well... removes all the ads
