Alanoll Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 come on WIHU 3.0!! change the INI syntax once more Now all I need is someone who speaks english and german and has a good deal of time on their hands.
BenjaminKalytta Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 come on WIHU 3.0!! change the INI syntax once moreOh, don't be so pessimistic ... I won't change this again.Benjamin
my2001 Posted August 17, 2004 Author Posted August 17, 2004 Now all I need is someone who speaks english and german (...)Honestly, I believe German isn't a difficult language, grammar is more or less easy.
BenjaminKalytta Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Honestly, I believe German isn't a difficult language, grammar is more or less easy. Yes, but that's no solution. We really need one who either translate this, or creates an own manual ... hehe may be I got the time to do this, but my english knowledge isn't enough to write a good manual. Besides wo fixes WIHU bugs then?Benjamin
Alanoll Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Now all I need is someone who speaks english and german (...)Honestly, I believe German isn't a difficult language, grammar is more or less easy. oh it's not. I can usually skim through most latin based languages and get the general gist of things, but it's not basis for understanding or translating Though I probally should learn german, and my girlfriend has been nagging at me to take german next year......

Besides wo fixes WIHU bugs then?BenjaminYeah, of course, you're right! I didn't want to say that learning German is a solution here. I was just kidding. If there's someone who wants to translate my manual, sure, why not?! But I doubt we'll find somebody coz it's a looooong manual. *hehe*I for my own spent more than enough time on that, now it should be somebody's else turn. I don't matter who but I think Benjamin is pretty well busy with WIHU itself.@AlanollWell, in case you're interested in German just look here (but only partly in English). Btw tenses in English are much more complex then in German. Isn't that nice?
my2001 Posted August 22, 2004 Author Posted August 22, 2004 Just a note: presumably only a few days left until publication.
my2001 Posted August 26, 2004 Author Posted August 26, 2004 Hhm, just waiting for Benjamin's reply and a short while after the manual should be avaiable for the public.
my2001 Posted August 28, 2004 Author Posted August 28, 2004 Okay, German manual for WIHU is ready and released. See first posting in this thread.
Alanoll Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 I can see why you don't want to translate it to English. 79 pages??? wowhowever, if you send me the original document, I can attemp to start translating it (though it could take a bit). alanollv @ gmail.com
