finished installing my cd, i get blue screen

i've now tested my finished ISO on Virtual PC, its finished install windows, then its rebooting, then i a quick blue screen that i can't even print screen it, than the VPC reboots..

i only finished the windows installation, the RunOnceEx.cmd didn't installed the apps yet..

any suggestions?

i tried search but i didn't find the answer..

have u removed any files from the original cd?

is it sp2?

what else did u do to the cd? ?? ?? ??

removed files? not that i remember.. heres the files in my root directory -

SETUP.exe

WIN51

WIN51IP

WIN51IP.sp1

WIN51IP.sp2

and yes its sp2

well afaik this was an issue of vpc.

try vmware.

In either one, VPC or VMWARE, I get a BSOD at the GUI portion of the installation of WinXP Pro (SP1a). But the error doesn't seem to occur when I install it the normal way, meaning the way you install it normally by booting from the CD-ROM drive from the Black & white screen.

The BSOD that I get is something like PAGE_FILE_ something ....

If you have a CD-RW, try it normally by using the CDRW or DVDRW.

did you modify kernels or system files? or ANY FILE? Tell us what all you did.

mmm let me see. i've modified the WINNTBBU.dll , and the winnt.sif, and i noticed another thing - my svcpack.inf file is empty.. (?)

does it have any thing to do with tis problem?

could be something 2 do with a bad tweak.. ive had reg tweaks mess up (or a bad program even)

hi bro, look in the setup it installing only windows, it doesn't appear to install regtweaks or runonceex.cmd ..

its installing only windows.. what can i do? maybe cuz of this?
