Unknown Process "System" in task manager

computer was running like crap today so i checked what was running and I got a process named "System" no exe no extention just System started by System... was wondering if anyone knew what this was.... I ran spybot and ad-aware and it never showed anything for it. at 28% CPU usage and 220K i'm curious if its a trojan or a virus.... i got Norton SystemWorks 2003 that has Anti-Virus... but that didn't pick it up either...

I have it too, but it should actually say this instead:

Process File: system or system trojan

Process Name: Windows System Trojan

Description: Microsoft Windows System Trojan.

Company: Microsoft Corp.

System Process: Hell No

Security Risk ( Virus/Trojan/Worm/Adware/Spyware ): OMG, YES!

Common Errors: BSOD

P.S. You'll also notice that gamehead200 used the same description layout as the above URL, just changed the info. I guess being a smartass is the in thing.

One computer running SP2 build 2162 has the process at 220k but isn't using any CPU.

Another computer running SP2 build 2180 has the process at 220k but isn't using any CPU anymore either. Was using about 20% CPU when printing via the network.
