mssaad66 Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 Hi all…. ...I have my Unattended WinXP SP1 CD with my drivers & my Programs……..Now I have Updated it with the SP2 but I have surprised that it's 732 MB, that is mean I need other CD for 32 MB So what is the way to get the Less size for Win XP SP2?????I mean that can I delete these files………….?./cmpnents./ DOCS./ VALUEADD./ SUPPORT Or I'll get any errors ……….If they are optionally I think no problem to delete them……..Because In that Time we will have more space…..* *I have reed this page http://www.unattended.msfn.org/xp/space_saving_tips.htm from along time and I have used it for SP1 but in SP2 There are new files………..** ** Sorry for my Bad English.
likuidkewl Posted August 11, 2004 Posted August 11, 2004 I say try out nlite and see how that treats you, I personally like it great space saver. If you are into imaging you can get xplite and manually do it after your install, then use something like acronis TrueImage to make a backup, I use this on my parents computer and my wifes pc. Just some info for you to mull over.
