Howto remove Outlook Express?

Hi,

I need to remove/not install Outlook Express in my W2K UA image. Does anybody know how?

Whats the command to uninstall a program directly?

Not feasible to remove it, cumulative patches for IE seem to restore it.

the following reg.exe commands can inhibit the icons though...for new profiles I believe.

rem kill Outlook Express 6 icon creation
reg delete "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{44BBA840-CC51-11CF-AAFA-00AA00B6015C}" /v "StubPath" /f

you can't remove it.. well you can, but then MSOffice complains. and whenever you upgrade IE, it comes back

The simplest thing to do is add msinm.exe to the restricted programs key so no one can launch it.

there is also a reg value/policy that removes the links to it

I'd love to remove OE but since it is needed for .mht files I can't

Could u pls provide a link of some sort as to how I can "add msinm.exe to the restricted programs key so no one can launch it" or even better a reg tweak that removes all links to it. Are those two approaches the same...will I end up with the same result if I apply one or the other?
