July 29, 200422 yr Has anyone else come across an error when using AllowedSites in winnt.sif for the IE Popup Blocker settings? Even the example provided in ref.chm also causes an invalid error during setup[IEPopupBlocker] AllowedSites = www.fabrikam.com; http://www.contoso.comI'm just hoping this is a bug in SP2 build 2162.
July 29, 200422 yr i dont use sp2.. but.its either a bug, or ms will release a new set of refrence's for sp2 full?regards
August 7, 200422 yr No, haven't tested it yet. I sure would think that should be wrapped in quotes, as there is some white space in there. Where did you get the new ref.chm: I don't see it in the SP2 Slipstreamed XPCREATION. Is there a whole new deploy.cab somewhere?
August 7, 200422 yr Author ref.chm is linked here: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/sp2changes.htmAlthough I got that at the time there was RC2 afaik
August 7, 200422 yr Yup, mine generates an error lin Line 47 of winnt.sif in both VMWare and live. The ref.chm that comes with SP2 does not even mention it, nor the Windows Firewall.

August 10, 200422 yr ... as there is some white space in there. ...Thanks, Ziggy! I kind of suspected something like that.On occasions where I have found errors in Microsoft documents, I "reported" it to them, and they were most gratefull. It'd be great if you tell them, and I'm sure they will update it. You could also add a pointer to this thread to help them "understand".Again, thanks for sharing that!
August 10, 200422 yr @GM If you still haven't gotten the updated deploy.cab yet....http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en
August 10, 200422 yr Thanks, Alanoll. Looks like the error is still in there. That might take them a bit longer to "correct", but they will if they know about it.
August 10, 200422 yr no space works.. but i get BSOD because of bad ram .. gotta wait until new one comes
