FthrJACK Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 this app rocks, if you dont have it you should get it, i hadnt bothered with it before because it didnt support resume but it does now. it searches incredibly fast and finds thousands of results
Aaron Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 ...and the link for the v2.0 beta is at Blubster.net(not .com - where the stable v1.2.3 release is, but no resume)
ThA_FiLeR Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 Yes it does, I got this last week and I love it. Thanks goes to Aaron for reccomending it last time in that other thread.
XPerties Posted July 13, 2002 Posted July 13, 2002 have used it for months as a alternative to kazza lite.-XPerties
vadislav Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 doe's blubster have adware or spyware? if so, how do you keep it off your computer in the first place?thank's
Rick Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 Okay...that looks very cool! I guess I need to start a new topic but my question is this. Is there a tool that gets all of Kazaa off your system? I want all traces of Kazaa and Kazaa lite gone.Rick
sedative Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 Uninstall then run Ad-aware to remove cydoor and other kazaa junk
Rick Posted December 17, 2002 Posted December 17, 2002 Okay...I have adaware plus and it runs constantly so there are no spyware keys on my computer. I was just checking to make sure there is nothing that adaware would miss.Rick
Rick Posted December 26, 2002 Posted December 26, 2002 Who is we? I have tried Blubster and it will not connect for me...does it take a long time? Rick
FthrJACK Posted December 26, 2002 Author Posted December 26, 2002 No it connects in under 10 seconds, it could well be your pesky router. A new version is coming out with beter port configuration. enabling you to change what ports it uses etc etc.People also have problems if they run zone alarm, or norton firewall. They block ports you havent told them to.. which i hate!Blubster is for MP£ only.. but its planned to include music videos and other music formats. They guy who programmed and released this i think he was about 19 when he did it.. and hes about 20 / 21 now.**** that makes me feel an old llama!
LS_Dragons Posted December 26, 2002 Posted December 26, 2002 Blubster won't connect for me. What ports do I need to check on my Cable/DSL Router? Any other secrets to know about?LS
FthrJACK Posted December 26, 2002 Author Posted December 26, 2002 Try these guides, like i said, ZA, norton firewall, and routers cause the problems, but its nearly always fixable:http://forums.blubster.net/forumdisplay.ph...p?s=&forumid=13
DJ_VuDuu Posted December 29, 2002 Posted December 29, 2002 Downloading Blubster now, thanks for recommending it, Kazaa was getting a little long in the tooth. I just love my downloads cancelling half way through because some yokel decides he doesn't want to share anymore
