Tel Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Hi allI'm trying to find out whether one of my users are infected by a virus, and I was looking through his running processes and there are 2 that are bothering me slightly.spinSnmpAgent.exeTunnelVision.exeThere are any extra programs running in the system tray other than Audio, AVG Anti-virus and Open Office. I've looked for these suspect processes on google and some virus websites, but I can't find any info on them.I hope somebody can help here.
Doggie Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Obviously there maybe isnt a problem then. I'd check what you may have recently installed and search "TunnelVision.exe" in your search box. It should find the directory they are in and see what there in.
XtremeMaC Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 well i know that snmpagent.exe exist and its an okay process but spin? i dunno about thattunnel vision? hmm maybe something about your graphics card?
neosapience Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Why not simply disable them and see what happens? If something breaks, you'll know what they're for and you can simply re-enable them.
Shun Di Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Hmm google says that spinSnmpAgent.exe is some kind of SNMP daemon, seems ok. I dunno about the other one though...
