can i still use the old sp1 uxtheme.dll file?

no, you need to download patched uxtheme.dll for SP2 build 2096.

maybe you can help me with another thing dude do i have to change my svcpack.inf file to support sp2? i tried using a modified version of my old svcpack file, with the 3 new updates for sp2 rc1 in the list, but none of them installed....

you will have to chnage it all once the new files come out, just transfer the data from YOUR SP1 file to the SP2 file and it should work fine.
