GusCE6 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 AAAAARRRRGHHHHH! This is the error message I get no matter which browser I've used: Secure Connection Failed The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. (Yeah, like how? I can't access the website!) I'm trying to watch movies or videos online at various sites. I did not used to get this at the same sites several years ago. All right, now- the laptop I am using also has a broken hard drive so I am using Puppy Linux stashed in the RAM. It is a cheap broken "throwaway" laptop, it has nothing of value on it, and I only want to use it for this purpose. Therefore I am not worried about viruses or the like. Is there a way, say using "about:config" or the equivalent, to deal with this? If so, a huge thank you in advance! Thak you.
Tripredacus Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Are you able to post on MSFN from this Puppy computer or are you using something else? 1
GrofLuigi Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Is your date/time correct? Too much drift can cause certificate verification errors.
