State Of Windows 10 Vanilla/LTSC in 2023/Beyond?

as the longest supported windows 10 version its is considered the best version of windows 10 for long term use but with older programs still slowly losing support will last that long?

I'm wondering what will exactly happend with win32 apps and Windows 10 LTSB 2015 in 2025. I love that version of Windows 10!

ltsb is definitely the best version of windows 10 for performence

I used W10 1511 until very recently, 99% of "ordinary" Win32 applications worked, while the store is dead. From what I gather, the same will happen to the store on version 1607 of LTSB after installing it by unofficial methods.

well some old versions of ms store are compatible with ltsb 2015 & 2016:

https://github.com/kkkgo/LTSB-Add-MicrosoftStore

it's just that newer versions of ms store will only work with ltsc 2019, ltsc 2021 & newer

at least ltsb 2016 v1607 gets support until Oct. 2026
