Hello, I want to install Windows 2000 on my main PC, but I have a few questions:

Is Windows 2000 friendly with SSD's?

Are there any services/settings I have to disable?

Does Windows 2000 support TRIM?

Do I have to install Windows 2000 in IDE mode if my computer doesn't support Windows 2000 for the AHCI drivers? (even though if you mod the Win2K .iso it will not install)

For some reason, I cannot download iata76_cd2ka.zip. Just doesn't work. You can try, or if you have that file, you can upload it to a mirror. Here's the link of the file I cannot download http://win2k.org/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?file=iata76_cd2ka.zip

You will go to wlu website for blackwingcat : http://win2k.org/wlu/wluen.htm

Put iata in Search Keyword ;)

There is no type A, when I search iATA, when the file in the article you sent earlier. Should I use IDE mode to install 2000?

All games works on Windows XP works on Windows 2000

If the game need a net framework, you should to download net framework 3.0/3.5/4.0 in wlu blackwingcat wlu site http://win2k.org/wlu/wluen.htm

and you should to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015/2016/2017/2018/2019 from wlu site

Wait for jakob99 to resolve the download link. You can install Windows 2000 in IDE mode, but don't do this until you try @Jakob99 fix iata76_cd2ka.zip download link please

I might try it in IDE mode with a WD Black HDD.
