NvidiaUnofficialModder Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Hello, I'm planning to buy XEON E5450 for Dual-Booting windows vista for basic processes, older high-end software and windows 10 for gaming, video editing and newer high-end software. Which gpu is the best for XEON E5450.
Tripredacus Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 You'll need a Legacy firmware ( "BIOS" ) GPU that meets the requirements of the games you'll be playing on Windows 10.
NvidiaUnofficialModder Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) OK, which CPU Series (architecture) is the first compatible with UEFI? Edited August 23, 2019 by NvidiaUnofficialModder
NvidiaUnofficialModder Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 OK, I'll buy GTX 6xx series. These GPUs are the last released GPUs before Windows 8 release date.
NvidiaUnofficialModder Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 GTX 690 for high-ultra graphics games. 680 for catching the GTX1050. 670, 660, 650 for playing older games.
AnX Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 I've seen many individuals use newer GPUs with older Legacy BIOS systems just fine. According to this forum post, it seems to be an issue with AMD cards mainly. Video of a GTX 1050 running in a legacy bios system. His channel has many more examples, too. 3
