As in previous posts, you need to type ipconfig in the command prompt. Windows XP says IP address and Windows 10 says IPv4 address. And enter this IP address in W2k in the proxy settings under Secure and start ProxhttpsProxy in your host system or in your Vm.

I tried using the ipconfig command line but it didn't work.

When I launch IE6 on Win2000, WU stucks at the 1st page and the proxy wrote 4 lines and stopped writing.

And IE crashed.

So what can I try now?

Microsoft is silly for shutting down the update servers.

Enable http 1.1 via proxy and enable Tls 1.0 in internet options.

What error are you getting on the website and what version of ProxhttpsProxy are you using? And send a photo from the site in W2k.

I get the error 0x80072EFD and i use the proxy that is available on i430vx's site.

The site is v6 with error 0x80072EFD, not anything other. :wacko:

So use version 1.5. This version does not work under W2k! You must download version 1.3 and run it in your host system!

With v1.3, will it work?

It certainly works with version 1.3. It also works for me without any problems. Version 1.5 doesn't work because it uses a Sha2 certificate and W2k doesn't support it.
