Problem is, that there is no exit button. I can't even say no!

If that ain't a PUP, I don;t know what is...

Close it with the task manager.

By the way, premium, internet security and Premier versions of Avast 2018 will work as I'm using the Premier version. You can still buy it and use your licence on an old version afaik.
