bookie32
Hi guys! I have a customer that uses Windows Live Mail.... He is like many of my customers limited in his experience of how to do things, so I showed him how to select email for deletion and then click on the remove button....this is easy for him to remember and has worked well....up and till recently... If he selects 1 email for removal and click on "Delete" it is not just removing 1 - but two three or more at the same time even if only one is selected....? Has anyone experienced something similar and has a solution? bookie32 Edited November 8, 2016 by bookie32 Work mainly with Swedish and translations are not always what you think... jumper
Are the extra deleted emails replies to the selected email? If so, Windows Live Mail might be in a Tree-View mode--showing replies under the original email. Deleting the original email would then also delete the whole tree of replies. Googling "Windows Live Mail might be in a Tree-View mode":How to Disable / Turn Off “Conversations” View in Windows Live Mail
bookie32
Hi jumper! No, it is totally separate emails and not just replies...thanks for the link...I will keep that for later... I do apologise...should have said that I did a repair on Windows Live Mail and that seemed to solve the problem....so the customer is happy at the moment... I thank you for your time...
