mike13
I have a Dell laptop N4110 that had Windows 7 on it. I now have Windows 10 on it. When I place the mouse on the battery icon on the taskbar, it says 100 % charged, 4 hours remaining etc. However if I remove the AC power, the screen goes screwy in about 10 minutes. All wavy and different colors etc. Is the battery going, or is it a Windows 10 problem. I looked on the Dell website, and it says that this computer is not supported with Windows 10. Suggestions please, Mike
Tripredacus
Try using a Linux live CD and see if you can see the same results.

Tripredacus
Try to find an ISO for a Live CD like Knoppix, Puppy, Ubuntu, etc. Then you boot your computer from that and it will run a Linux OS. Then remove the AC power and see what the screen does.
puntoMX
Looks to me that powersaving of that laptop isn't supported by Windows 10, so it wants to go into powersave mode and messes up the memory. So, it has something to do with power but it's not the battery. Try to disable some powersave settings and see if that helps. But, it’s kind of odd that this happens. Did you try a BIOS update?
