Skype 7.2x on Windows XP

I noticed this bug, but that was before I wiped the HDD and reinstalled Windows XP x32 SP3: (for Halo CE)

Close Skype with the "X" and Skype.exe is always a zombie process! (Must be terminated with Task Manager)

Are you sure it really is closed and not just gone into the System Tray? Other IMs I use are similar, when closing them just makes the GUI go away... as if it is designed as such... I will note that sometimes it is difficult to get the GUI to re-appear again.

In my XP x64 PC, latest version that not have this "close" problem, is 3.8.0

 

For now, works very well, i use almnost everyday

use any 3 or 4 or 5 version

they all work fine

6 and 7 are fubar
