Need some assistance: No update list found

Featured Replies

I have installed WUD 2.50 Build 1002 on my Win 7 machine.

I also downloaded the ul file windows-7-sp1-x64-enu.ulz and placed it in C:\Program Files\Windows Updates Downloader which is where the WUD.exe file is.

Yet when I launch WUD I get the message No update list found. If I then hit the + it opens up the URL to http://www.windowsupdatesdownloader.com/

Can you please help me resolve this issue.

Thank you

Hi - I am having this same problem with the Win XP SP3 x86 file..  I downloaded the file, clicked Open, selected it to be opened with WUD, then WUD opens and I get the message that No Update List is found.  It appears it isn't doing the unpacking step.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yes. Read the post above yours.

Hi Dencorso -

thanks for replying.  Are you referring to the double-clicking of the file?  If so, I had done that, it opened the WUD program and gave me the message I listed.  Is there something else I missed that you are suggesting?

You've just installed WUD, right? If so, the next best guess is something went wrong during installation. Try removing, rebooting, then reinstalling.

My second link... Scroll down to "how to make portable". ULZ files are just renamed ZIP files.

It tells specifically where the UL (inside the Zipped ULZ) will (should) go.

If that doesn't work, you got bad downloads.
