Skrell Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 no matter what i try i can't seem to get the inactive windows to be completely opaque whereas i can acheive this with the active window by simply using the AeroGlassGui.exe. Can somone please help me?
NoelC Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 On Windows version __? For me, with Win 8.1, just changing the Inactive frames slider makes the inactive window borders opaque. With Win 10 the rules are different. -Noel

For me when i hover over the slider when it's all the way to the right, it displays 20% as the max amount. Do you get this too?
NoelC Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Though I don't use it at 100%, I seem to be able to move it to 100%... The version I'm running is 6,168,064 bytes and dated December 15, 2014. -Noel

Majority of the themes have set opacity of inactive frames to 20%." So my next question is what theme are you using?
NoelC Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 I just use the stock Windows 8.1 theme with my own theme atlas. I've since developed a nicer one for Win 10 and I've been considering porting the buttons back to Win 8. Sometimes I do wish the controls had more style (e.g., scroll bar thumbs especially). But the stock theme has been very stable. -Noel
DosProbie Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM]"CustomThemeAtlas"="C:\\AeroGlass\\Atlas\\1_Win7_Rd_10041.png"What is a theme atlas? 1. Read here about the Atlas => http://www.glass8.eu/guide.html2 You will need a .png atlas file for correct build and theme3. Then add to registry to activate, like this reg example above.~DP Here is a 'Windows 7 Rounded Atlas Theme' by Hocknic that I am using for Windows 10 build 10041.Post#154 http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/170233-aero-glass-themeatlas/page-7 Edited March 23, 2015 by DosProbie
Jack Buehner Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Can someone upload AeroGlassGUI.exe? The download link doesn't work anymore...
Jack Buehner Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I was talking about the program that lets you adjust the way aeroglass looks, not aero glass.
